Meet the Deadly Komodo Dragon
Growing up to 10 ft, weighing up to 150 lbs an can live up to 30 years. You will find this member of the monitor lizard family on the Indonesian Islands of Komodo, Rinca, flores, Gilimotang and Padar.

In 1980, the Komodo National Park was founded to protect the the dragon populations of Komodo, Rinca and Padar which a previous population had become extinct due to poaching.
