World's Biggest Amphibian

The Chinese Giant Salamander is the biggest amphibian on planet earth. The enormous giant salamander is found in China and has a mean bite. They can grow up to 6 feet long and are found in rivers and creeks feeding on small fish and sea life they happen to encounter.

The Chinese Giant Salamander shouldn’t be confused with the Giant Japanese Salamander, although they are very similar, the giant Japanese salamander is slightly smaller than its cousin making it the second largest amphibian in the world.
